Lost Planet demo hits the PSN

If you are one of those people who has a multitude of PSN accounts, covering every continent on the planet, then you may be interested to know that Capcom’s Lost Planet is now available to download, from both the US and Japanese store.

The demo is online only, but should give players a taste of what is to come. The demo is for 8 players instead of the usual  16 found in the retail version, and involves a deathmatch mode.

It is said that the PS3 version of the game will feature all of the extras which had to be paid for on the xbox, plus extra playable characters. Although the European gamers will have to wait a little longer for the demo, as it has not yet appeared on their store update this week

The game itself is due to be released on February 29th.

It sickens me that the US and Japanese stores always get the demos first. It’s the 21st century for god’s sake – the digital age!

Very disappointed with this game. Players movements are way too slow – offset a bit by all the great ‘machines’ you can get in. Also took ages to get connected – is this because it is only on the US PSN store so far?

I had this on the 360 and it rocked, although it is not as good as i remember it to be. The framerate needs ALOT of work though, as it felt like i was playing in slow motion. 🙁
