Pro Evolution Soccer ready to storm FIFA party?

Pro Evolution Soccer’s debut on the PS3 will attempt to knock the FIFA 08 franchise off course in an anticipated demo released this Thursday on the PlayStation Online store.

FIFA 08 is the first football game released on the PS3 of note and is released on Friday 28th September. Demo’s of PES 08 have already landed on XBox Live - but PlayStation users are widely tipped to be handed this on Thursday 27th September.

PS3 users have been starved of a game simulating the world’s number one sport, and it is expected that vast numbers of ardent Pro Evo fans will feel compelled to purchase a copy of FIFA 08 simply because it is out earlier. If the demo arrives on Thursday then Konami will be hoping many fans will be prepared to wait the extra couple of weeks.
